What is the Quarterly Medical Law Review?
QMLR is a quarterly publication produced by the barristers at 1 Crown Office Row. QMLR covers the latest developments in medical law, including clinical negligence, personal injury, inquests, inquiries, regulatory, Court of Protection, costs, the Civil Procedure Rules, abuse, and judicial review.
We provide considered, in-depth analysis of judgments, trends in case-law, legislative developments, inquiry reports, and policy changes. As a result, we cover developments in the weeks and months (not days) after they occur. However, our Twitter account posts regular updates.
Every quarter, the full issue of QMLR is sent to subscribers by email and then posted on the Issues page. The purpose of this site is to provide an archive of all of our articles which is searchable and accessible. Therefore, we upload the articles as individual posts which are sorted by practice area and tagged with keywords (e.g. ‘Article 2’ or ‘causation’). By clicking on the category names or tags, you can view similar articles. You can also use the search box on the left-hand side.
